Usually, when stories surface about inconsiderate royal behavior.
They focus on one royal couple.
This time, however, criticism is directed at another royal pair.
Over the weekend, it was revealed that the family is planning to move from the cottage where they lived with their children for the past three years to a nearby estate that is significantly larger and offers greater privacy.
However, not everyone is expected to welcome the move.
A news outlet reported that due to the relocation, two families living close to the estate were asked to leave their homes.
These homes were formerly stables belonging to the royal estate and were later converted into rental residences.
According to reports, the families currently renting the properties were surprised by the request to vacate.
They were told they had to leave, without prior notice.
The homes are very close to the estate, and the palace did not want ordinary residents to remain in the area if the royal family moved there.
While the forced relocation was likely unwelcome,
sources clarified that the affected families were offered alternative homes that were similar or even better than the ones they were required to leave.
The cottage is located on the grounds of a historic castle, and the family moved there three years ago from a palace residence in the capital, where they had previously lived.
Their new home, the estate, is not actually new.
It was built in the eighteenth century and is classified as a historic building.
The family is expected to continue living there in the future.
The estate, located within a large park, represents a significant upgrade from the cottage. I
t includes eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, a ballroom, a swimming pool, a tennis court, large windows, two lakes, expansive gardens, and three nearby houses for staff.
