Being the child of celebrities can open doors to many career opportunities and provide a financial safety net if things do not work out.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, the new list of the wealthiest celebrity offspring has been revealed, with the Kardashian-Jenner family taking several spots on the list.
Kim Kardashian, 43, whose father was the lawyer of O. J. Simpson, turned her clothing and design brand SKIMS into a $4 billion empire, alongside a portfolio of brand deals throughout her career, earnings from the family reality series, investments, and property ownership.
In second place on the list is her half-sister, Kylie Jenner, whose father is a former Olympic medalist who underwent gender reassignment surgery and now goes by Caitlyn Jenner.
According to the report, she amassed £550 million through her business ventures and the family reality show.
Kylie, 27, entered the billionaire list in March 2019 and became the youngest self-made billionaire according to Forbes in 2020, thanks to the Kylie Cosmetics brand.
Third on the list is Paris Hilton, 44, with £236 million.
She is the daughter of American businessman Richard Hilton, but managed to build an empire beyond the family name in business, creating everything from perfumes, clothing, shoes, makeup, and skincare to jewelry, underwear, and dog clothing.
In fourth place are Hailey Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow, with £157 million each. Hailey is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and the wife of Justin Bieber, and Gwyneth is the daughter of director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner.
Miley Cyrus, daughter of singer Billy Ray Cyrus, is in fifth place with £126 million.
She is followed by Drew Barrymore with £67 million, daughter of actor John Drew Barrymore.
Kate Hudson, daughter of Hollywood star Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson, is in seventh place with £63 million.
Kourtney Kardashian is in eighth place with £51 million.
Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian share ninth place with £47 million each, and Nicole Peltz Beckham, daughter of American businessman Nelson Peltz, rounds out the top ten with £39 million.
